Scholarships and Other Funding Opportunities for the MPH program

 

SONHES  Public Health Workforce Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship

Two scholarships of up to $2,500 each 

Fall application deadline is 5/1 and Spring application deadline is 12/17

Requirements

Must be an accepted full-time (3 or more classes per semester) student in the MPH program in order to receive the scholarship.
Must be a member of a group that is historically underserved and underrepresented in the public health workforce (Black or African-American, AAPI, Native American, Hispanic/Latinx)
Demonstrated interest in health equity and inclusion work

  1. 500-750 word essay that addresses: interest in public health equity and inclusion, including how that will be applied at TCNJ and in the future; previous health health related experience (personal, volunteer or employment related); and professional goals for your MPH.
  2. Resume that includes work and volunteer experiences

Graduate Assistantships

Require 15 hours of work per week during each of the fall and spring semesters while the college is in session. Graduate Assistants will be awarded a tuition waiver of $10,000.00 per academic year ($5,000 per semester for fall and spring only).

Only full-time (minimum 9 credits/semester), matriculated graduate students in good academic standing with a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 are eligible for selection as a Graduate Assistant.
