Scholarships and other funding opportunities for the  MPH program

Graduate Assistantships

Require 15 hours of work per week during each of the fall and spring semesters while the college is in session. Graduate Assistants will be awarded a tuition waiver of $10,000.00 per academic year ($5,000 per semester for fall and spring only).

Only full-time (minimum 9 credits/semester), matriculated graduate students in good academic standing with a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 are eligible for selection as a Graduate Assistant.

Susan Hyrdo Graduate Public Health Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship, valued at $5,000, will be awarded to a graduate student who has been admitted to the Graduate Public Health program.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be employed by a local, federal, or state department of public health or a hospital, clinic, nursing home, or similar healthcare facility.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic record.
  • Exhibit a deep commitment to the field of public health.
